Formed in 2021, Born Abroad is an independent record label started by two American expats living in Heidelberg, Germany. As foreigners in our new home, we often found ourselves turning to music as a way to bridge the cultural divide. With Born Abroad, we seek to do this on a broader scale and amplify the voices of unique artists who have interesting things to say and deserve to be heard. Our focus is less on genre or style than it is community building and helping deserving artists get their music to a wider audience, wherever they may be, at home or abroad.
